UPDATE: Calvary SonRise’s response to the Coronavirus The most recent state declaration to assist with social distancing prohibits gatherings over 10 people. As a result, Calvary SonRise will temporarily be suspending all services at the church and moving to Live Streaming services available here csoshkosh/live and on Facebook & Youtube
Mid-week studies and other activities are also cancelled until further notice.
The church office will be open, and anyone wishing to meet with Clint Laird, Pastor, should call +1(920)312-7411 to schedule an appointment.
In addition, anyone with prayer needs is encouraged to contact the prayer chain. If you have other needs that arise during the closure, please call the church. It is important that the Body continues to lift each other up during this time even if we are not meeting corporately.
As Christians, our response to current events should be different than the world’s. If the constant bombardment of news and messages has you down, remember that God is always in control. Fear should not compel or control us. As the Scriptures proclaim, He is our hope, refuge and strength, and we need not be anxious about anything. Instead, study the Word of God, draw near to the Lord in prayer, and continue to fellowship with other believers so we can lift one another up.
Psalm 46: 1-2 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea
Phil 4: 6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
